I am having o2 postpaid connection which is having EU region coverage. Currently, I am roaming in Switzerland. I need to know if I will charged for my data and calls.?please help me to answer. Edit by o2_Katja: Moved to our English Community

I have been called 12 times in the past 3 days from the below numbers. All three are telemarketing firms representing O2. It’s an unacceptable business practice.I continue to block their numbers and they call again with a new number. O2, fix this for your customers.+49 176 88854878+49 8654 4079632933+49 8654 4079632821

Hi, I need to configure port forwarding on my LTE router and I’ve read that with O2 home spot I need a public IP address to do that. Can somebody help me please? edit o2_Tobias: transferred from “o2 HomeSpot” to our English Community

Hi, I wonder if you might be able to help me. I got a call from a number saying they were O2:+4917688854750 They were saying I should update my mobile tariff to O2 Free L or something, to avoid problems in the network and that it would cost me the same as now. Since I was a bit distracted, it somehow all sounded OK to me and they had me agree to it on the call. Right after the call I started really thinking about how it didn’t make too much sense and looked into that number and it saw several people complaining about the number. Is this a scam ? Do you know of similar things ? Is there a way to block any upgrades they might trigger ? Thank you!

I have a question for the O2 team. Is your Meine O2 app developed “ In House “ ( On site )Many none German speakers has problems with the language of the Meine O2 app. If your app is in house can I forward a request  for additional language options in the Meine O2 app.?I still believe to this day the way forward is to have language options across the all the O2 customer facing solutions. Examples:  Website, App, Telephone.I’m sure such options  would drive more customers to O2, Its a win solution for both parties. With Friendly Greetings.

Can O2 confirm the Vodafone GigaCube Cat19 (B818-263) FH White Works with O2 my Home M.Vodafone GigaCube   ASIN ‏Number ‎ B08GGDPJF8Manufacturer reference Number  ‏ : ‎ 9909014Many thanks.

First I want to say I have made the grand return to the English community forum  Now to something I was thinking about.I’m contracted  to O2 my home M.Part of the application process I failed to note I’m forced to rent the awful O2 HomespotSee my post under my previous community posts .O2 Home spot end of the roadI thought the German government was about to pass a new consumer  law to stop  the likes of O2 hardwiring the LTE router so that the customer an only use the provide device? As some of you may know O2 allows other routers but the list is very , very limited and restricted.( unless things have changed ? )My question is I’m I still forced the rent the O2 Homespot given  pending  law change? Why wont   you let me return the O2 Homespot. and provide me with the FRITZ LTE 6820 ? Or let me send back the O2 Homespot without money penalty.I am aware  some routers can’t be used because of the telephony  but I never use a phone. Its annoying O2 locks out the better Fritz LTE router 6850.

I just finished paying a cell-phone that I purchased with an o2 contract.I would like to buy a new phone, but keep the existing contract. Would it be possible to do it online, or do I need to go to a physical o2 store?PS: I just posted the same question on the forum in German, but just now noticed that I have the chance to ask in English. Due to my very limited German, I’m re-posting it in English. Sorry for the duplicated question.

Good evening, I have a O2 Free M Flex Online contract and I am currently in a different EU country than Germany for a few days. Somehow I am not able to call any number in other EU states, except the country I am currently in and Germany. I get a message saying I am now allowed to make these kind of calls, although my contract includes roaming in EU.I contacted the hotline and I was told the problem would be solved within a couple of hours. 10 hours laters I am still not able to make the calls. This is a phone I use for work and I need to have the ability to make calls in other EU states without limitations, is there a way the issue can be fixed quickly? Thanks for the kind attention,Erica

I can’t use my SIM anymore as I have lost my PIN and PUK. I cannot access my online o2 account without my SIM.  I would appreciate some help from o2 moderators. Thanks a lot! Edit by o2_Katja: Moved to our English Community

Good afternoon everyone, I received my handset today with the included sim-card and confirmation email that my tarif plan is initiated but when I attempt to activate the sim-card I receive no SMS containing my phone number and password necessary to register. I have attempted to activate the sim-card five times already but still have no SMS even after requesting a new activation code be sent. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Kind regardsNick Edit by o2_Katja: Verschoben in unsere Englisch Community

Sir / Madam, i would like to cancel my postpaid o2 contract since one year but I am not receiving any response from o2.I tried calling o2 customer service, but when I request them to talk in English they disconnect my call. i visited the nearest o2 store to cancel my contract, instead they changed my contract to higher price from 10 euros to 25 euros. And it looked like they did it intentionally. I even spoke German and also showed them the Google translator asking to cancel the contract. Very disappointing customer service.Even when I don't use my o2 number for months I have received bills for 70 euros and above for each month. I don't use my o2 number regularly still I receive bills which is very expensive and tough to pay.And canceling the contract is so complicated, even after waiting for hours on call I am not able to connect any of your customer care member. So I had to visit the store near my place and then they made it worse by changing the contract from 10 euros to 25 euros wi

I had a o2 contract (data L - 60GB) for 2 years: May 2019 - April 2021.I want to take a new contract now (unlimited data) for 2 years: July 2021 - June 2023.I lost my old sim card, but my account is still active (90 days not yet over). Can I take a new contract with a new sim card but retain the old o2 number ? edit by o2_Katja: Verschoben in unsere Englisch Community

Yesterday I made an order for one-year data volume and the payment was complete via sofort. But no order confirmation letter has been received. Could you help check with that? (The e-mail used during the order is the same to my forum account) Thank you!Ref. Message (000B01KU3TX3 o2-prepaid-jah) edit o2_Solveig: verschoben von Prepaid zum English-Board

Hi, I have a mining device Helium hotspot. I need to enable the following port  44158 TCP. Could you please support? Regards,Yousef

Dear Sir or Madam,I am a customer of O2 since 2018. I currently have a cell phone contract “O2 Free S Boost” that I started in 2018. This one costs me 24,99€ per month for 3Gb of data. These days, the contract “O2 free S” is costing 19,99€ for 3Gb of data (https://static2.o9.de/resource/blob/583516/78f3d217b56a93a60942129465d42341/1_po_o2-free_s_2020_1.0-download-data.pdf). So 5€ less expensive. Obviously, I want to change my contract, keeping my current phone number. However, if I go to my online account and click on "Vertragsverlängerung", only more expensive rates are offered. Also, if I call the O2 hotline, they tell me that it is not possible to have a cheaper tarif with my current contract. To get what I need to do (cheaper tarif+ keep the same phone number), the hotline told me I need to do an EXTREMELY COMPLICATED PROCEDURE : Send a PAPER letter in GERMAN to O2 saying that I want to end my contract, three months before the end of my contract  a few days before the end of my old

Hello,I am unable to contact the chat service. I tried everything written above. Thanks,PrajwalPost moved to New Topic & relocated to English Mobile - o2_Antje

Hi,I wanted to cancel my current contract and port my number to Vodafone. They said that you would need to release the number 1st.  Please cancel my current contract and release my number and i ll pay the porting fees of 6.65 Euros.

We moved house and took our Homespot with us. It had always worked perfectly… but now it is so slow that is is almost unusable.Theoretically we live in an area with sufficient signal, but in practice, even the LTE on our smartphones is also very slow. I suspect this is the problem.I think we need to be connected to the Festnetz. But I don’t know if this is possible and I don’t know how to contact 02 Customer Services.Does anyone have any tips on how to make the internet faster? We called 02 once and they just made us unplug everything a million times and it didn’t help. (Moved to our english (mobile) community, o2 Michi)
