I need to cancel my O2 HomeSpot contract as soon as possible, but I can't find out how. The 017688855222 is German only and Mein O2 (German only too but I can use Google Translate) everytime I try to login it says it has technical problems. I actually was never able to access it in more than one and a half year as a customer.Anyway, how can I do it and do it fast? Any online form? Should I go to an O2 store? Hello dear O2 support team.I have a long, annoying story with O2, which is making me crazy. Please bear with me and read to end.I made a landline internet contract, through a phone call, more than 5 month ago. But my connection didn’t work after the activation date. I tried to call the support team several times, but since I can’t speak German, I had real problems. Finally, a technician came to my house after one month, and checked the ports in the house. He told me that my house isn’t connected to the cable connections, and I cannot have a cable internet. He told me that I need to get DSL internet from Telekom (don’t ask me why). He also told that he will tell the respective department to cancel my contract. After that, I bought a DSL internet from Telekom, and now I have very stable internet connection from Telekom. But, my contract with O2 isn’t terminated, and I’m still paying for some internet connection which I don’t have, and it seems that no one in O2 is willing to solve the pr
Dear Team, Due to apartment shifting to a new place, I'm forced to change my o2 connections by porting out as there is no range and I can't use the benefits of my plans, hence decided to move on. However when contacted support team for the same, they are asking me to write to head office and they can't initiate cancel process from system. As we have all options in online and my o2 portal, why we need to write plain paper request to update situation and request to port out. And it will require waiting for reply/update without any reference number to my request as well. Kindly let me know any other options are there for my scenario. Regards,Krishna
Hello, starting from the 26th of September, I have had issues having no internet with my cable connection.On my router (Fritzbox 6600 Cable) the WLAN light is turned on consistently with the Power/Cable light repeatedly flashing. I have tried restarting the router several times, removing and re-attaching the coaxial cables and ensuring that they have a firm connection, troubleshooting in the router internal settings/o2 app with no luck.I wanted to check whether its a problem with the service, or if I am having hardware issues regarding the cable/router. Hello O2 / Community, it’s really cool that you provide support in English, thank you!First of all, sorry for the long text. I hope someone can help. 😊I have DSL from O2 in Germany. The plan is called „O2 DSL Classic S“ (previously „O2 DSL Young 50/10“) and should have 50mbit down and 10mbit up. The whole time however, I only get 26mbit down and 5mbit up. I have tried with different speedtest providers (Breitbandmessung, Ookla, Telekom, Google etc) during a long time period, with different computers and always with LAN cable to the router. The router/modem is a Fritzbox 7490 with the latest software version.So, this speed is not so nice for the price of 29,99€/month and I need a change/fix… On the positive side, the connection is at least stable and the plan is over 24 months so I can cancel it on a months notice.Possible solution 1:If I log in to the Fritzbox Router Admin and look under „DSL-Informationen“ -> „Leistungskapazität“ it says the connection is actually capable of 105mb
Hello, I've recently extended my contract landline, home internet and 3 mobile phone plans.After receiving an email saying my internet and landline connection have been successfully activated I no longer have internet at home even with an Ethernet cable. I bought the 14.99 euro prepaid card (special offer), which said that I would start with the “O2 Loop” account but automatically switch to the 14.99 prepaid tarif once I topped up that amount. However, it’s clear that it never switched, and now with 1.5 weeks left in this 4-week deal it’s asking me to top up my account for more data! (I also can’t make phone calls outside of Germany.) Hello o2, can you please stop the interruptions for adsl users or at least increase the time like other adsl providers already did (see https://hilfe.o2online.de/o2-dsl-vertrag-tarife-33 /24-hour-forced-separation-588124)? Before, i heard that due to law, the connection of private customer is forced to be disconnected every 24 hours. OK fine we have nothing to do with the law. Now o2 offers cable option for private customer which does not have such interruptions (see https://hilfe.o2online.de/router-software-internet-telefonie-34/tarif-ohne-zwangstrennung-593967). I am using o2 adsl and unfortunately, cable option is not available at my place, and the router that o2 gave me does not have the option to change time to be disconnected. edit: moved from Router…, 6.9.2022, 19.01 Uhr, o2_Micha It is best if the improvment is performed automatically (exising customers do not need to register for it). Hallo, last month as well as now I can't find anywhere the app bonus 500 mb. Hello! My contract for Samsung Note20 Ultra device and Unlimited Pro Max tariff will soon end (on the 4th of November). I would like to buy an iPhone 13 Pro (or maybe iPhone 14 Pro) with ideally unlimited internet (but at least minimum 60 gb). However, currently there are much better options for this at other providers. Hello,A week ago was the activation date of my wired internet, I received an email confirming the installation successfully.However I was never able to establish an internet connection. I already try to solve it with o2 suit, o2 service app and the web of fritzbox. In fritzbox it says that I must give my mac address to the provider or wait for the activation date. The MAC address of my router is correctly uploaded at www.o2.de/mein-o2.I already tried to communicate repeatedly by phone but the service in English does not help me and in the other service phone I cannot communicate because I do not speak German. I even went to two o2 shops for ask for help, but nothing...Please, it is very urgent for me to fix the problem or I won't be able to keep my job.Mi router is a Fritz!box 6660 brand new.Thanks in advance.
Hi! There is a problem with cancelling direct debit. I have repeated attempts to take money from my account (through direct debit) although I have money there. There is no reason for these attempts. There should be a possibility to easily cancel direct debit from an account otherwise it just profits the company with regular fines of 4 euros (and stimulates to choose the other operator to be honest). Please, cancel the direct debit.
