Hello my contract is starting in few weeks and also received my rental router. I just realised the router rental agreement is whole contract period.Is it possible to return the router before the contract end or now? (I have opened the rental router box)Long term I wanted to buy my own router to use.Thank you
5G connection not available and out of contract after already been used
Hello,In the end of April I have signed an O2 Mobile L contract with a new device via Check24.As stated in the contract I have received from Check24 and was from O2 this is including 5G. The first month everything worked smooth and I was pretty satisfied with the coverage of 5G however, after my first monthly payment 5G has stopped working entirely.Firstly I called the customer service were they informed me that there is a technical issue in my area and they are looking for a solution. At the same time a colleague of mine, and customer of O2 had 5G just next to me.I decided to go to a O2 store and the employees show me that in the O2 system it looks like I am not having the 5G option in my contract. Since no-one was speaking English and my German is limited I was not able to fully explain and understand the situation. How can that be possible since I signed it in my contract and also used it all May? Is there any explanation or someone facing a same issue?I have already reached out to
O2 is charging me extra... again
Hi All,I hope this is the right place to ask this.A couple of months ago i received a call from O2 that my then current tariff will be discontinued and therefore they will put me into a new tariff. I protested it because I knew there will be a trick and I will end up paying extra but the agent assured me the only change I will have is that I will get an extra 20GB mobile internet for free of charge. No extra money will be charged to me he assured. Anyways, here we are 2 months later and I am paying an extra €30 without me agreeing to it or authorising it. When I call they say they can’t speak English and the only once can speak english they are not authorised to deal with self-employed customers.I admit I have not read the new contract when they sent it, which clearly stated that I will pay €34.99 instead of €29.99 for the new tariff. Hi everyone, I need to have quick answer. We are wind turbine industry, but unfortunately our contract internet from another operator has been declined, our guys on wind turbine site bought o2 prepaid card. I need to active this card and buy internet for them, is that possible to do it remotely? I have tried register simcard at https://sim-aktivieren.o2online.de/msisdn , but getting error when entering rufnummer. “Die Aktivierung konnte leider nicht durchgeführt werden. Bitte versuchen Sie es später erneut oder wenden Sie sich an die Hotline.” Is there any chance to do it today? Simplest (cheapest) cable modem
I’m thinking about switching to O2 but I have quite a complex network at home. I use my own router (openwrt) with several VPNs, few WiFi APs, and complex routing. So I don’t want to switch to FrizzBox and setup it from scratch (not sure if it’s even possible). And especially I don’t want to pay extra fee for router I don’t need.Is there any simple cable modem for O2? Or really the only option is to by/rent expensive FrizzBox just to switch it to “bridge” mode?
Why did not O2 local shop salesman follow EU customer rules and Telefónica seconded it?
Can anyone on this community provide me a solid explanation of the legal association between O2 local shop and the Telefonica? No internet with Fritz! Box 6660 after activation date (Need help)
Hello O2 community,I am having a trouble with Fritz! Box 6660 which supposed to be activated today (May 11). I went to several O2 shops to ask for help, only to get an English hotline. I called the hotline, but the operator cannot diagnose why the connection was not established. Since I moved to Germany recently and cannot speak German at all, I cannot ask a technician to come (The booking can be made in German only). I would appreciate it if anyone can advice on how to solve the problem or how to ask a technician to come as soon as possible.DetailFritz! I have ordered the Google Pixel 6a on 02 June 2023. I paid the initial payment and O2 has deducted from my card. And I do not receive any email of Order Confirmation from O2 till now.And I do not know how to communicate with O2 customer service because I do not get my Order number even. Hi @o2_Jennifer .Could you please let me know how much does it cost to cancel a contract. I've signed a contract for 24 months in March but because I'm not getting a the right speed + wifi connection is unstable ( to the point that we can't work on a laptop) I'm considering contract cancellation. Cancelled contract but still being charged
In the O2 store they made a mistake and wrongly created a contract without the conditions I signed. They told me it would be cancelled without any problem, delay nor costs on my part. However, it took a lot to be cancelled. Once cancelled, I automatically got another contract which I didn’t even get any SIM, and now that I finally managed to cancel all contracts (I think) I got charged (apart for the monthly costs) for a cancellation fee. I have cancelled my contract
I have cancelled my contract succesfully (I think), however now when I try to login to my O2 account to check if everything was properly cancelled it prompts me to enter an sms code from a sms from a new number I don’t know of (and is not the one that got cancelled). o2 app not working
Hello, hope someone who speaks English can help me! I’m currently running into a problem within the o2-de app. I try to login to my account and every time I try to do that, it gives me an error. It says:”HinwiesEin allgemeiner Fehier ist aufgetreten. Bitte versuchen Sie es später noch einmal. (-1)” I need help as it’s urgent for me to access my details, especially since I’ve just moved from England to Germany! o2-uk is literally useless at this point since o2-uk and o2-de don’t affiliate with each other so there customer support can’t do anything which is understandable. How to open my NAT type?
I am writing to inquire about how to open my NAT type.I have noticed that my NAT type is currently restricted, which is causing some connectivity issues with certain online services. In order to resolve these problems, I would appreciate assistance in opening my NAT type.Could you please provide instructions on how to Open my NAT type? Last payment after contract termination.
Hello, I made contract termination request via online form where I set termination date for 29.05.2023 then I sent paper confirmation on 12.05.2023 after I receive mail from O2.For now I didn’t receive any paper but my O2 app said that my account will be terminated at 13.06.2023.I’m confuse since I set the termination date online and as a result it did nothing and termination date is set +1 month when O2 received mail via post.I will leave Germany at the end of the May and close my German bank account too.Is it possible to made last payment manually for the period that left? And not wait any time when automated payment will be made?I hope it is possible.Thank you.
