Canceled my contract and still pay


I canceled my contract on 03.06.2024 and until today 10.04.2025 after 2 cancellations, I still pay 46,89 monthly without even the internet connection to exist. The new owner uses another provider.

I texted O2 to refund my money since then and they said they will refund 46,89 for this month.

What can I do more? I’m paying now 10 months for something that doesn’t even exist.

On what date was your termination confirmed?

The PDF I received from O2 says that I requested the termination on 30.06.2024. So I guess that should be the date.

This is the automatic confirmation of receipt, not a cancellation confirmation. I suspect you have different information stored. Has O2 not contacted you again?

The relevant date is not the date you requested termination but the date the contract ends. What date is that?

You mention a new owner. Have you moved house?

welcome to our o2 community 🙂

With a termination you will receive a confirmation by e-mail or by letter, that confirms the cancellation and gives the date of the termination of the contract.

When you move your address you can move your landline/internet contract, a cancellation can be made for the end of the running time of your contract.

When the request for cancellation cannot be confirmed, because the data given for the contract cannot be validated, we inform you as well, usually via e-mail.
