I cannot receive or make calls. I can only receive SMS


Hello, I currently live in Germany and have had O2 for the two years I have been here. Recently in May 2021 I flew back to the States. When I returned I was no longer able to receive calls or conduct outgoing calls. I am still able to receive and send text messages (SMS). I tired taking out my SIMS card and putting it back in my phone. That still did not work.

I have just checked and can already tell you that call barring has not been set up. Incoming and outgoing calls should work normally from our side.
Therefore, I would like to ask for more information:
Do the call problems only occur in a certain place? Or also at several locations? Have you been able to test your SIM card in another device? This would help us to narrow down whether it is still due to the device or the network.

Could you please give us more information about the issue? What kind of phone do you use? Are we talking about the phone number you signed in for our community?

Are you using Multicards? Maybe after getting some more details we can enclose the error.

I am currently using a Samsung Galaxy S8+ 

Yes the phone number I used to sign is is my current phone number. No I am not using mulitcards. I recently went to my SIM card settings and it said mobile network disconnected. I can use my data and send messages and receive messages. If someone tries to call me it doesn't come through my phone and i get a message saying this number tried calling you. When I try to call someone it just rings and rings an eventually disconnects or hang up.
