I have been using a prepaid sim for one year. Now, I have got a contract for O2 with Samsung mobile. I want to ask that is it possible to transfer my contract to my old O2 prepaid number because I have given this number everywhere and I don’t want to switch the number or continue using two sims from O2.
Moreover, I have received a message from O2 that your prepaid sim will be blocked I will not recharge the balance before 23rd December. That balance will be of no use for me because I already had a contract. Is there any way to recharge a balance of 1 or 2 euros to keep my old sim active?

The remaining amount will then be transferred to your personal bank account.

Dear O2 Team,
I have submitted the request twice for porting O2 prepaid number (xxxxxxx) to my current O2 postpaid contract (xxxxxxxx) using the option available in mein O2 login. I have entered all the details but did not receive any response of porting. I have also discussed this issue with O2 representative in video chat and he said he could not see any porting request from my side in the system and informed me that I still have to wait few days because this request takes few days to process and shown in the system.
Please resolve my issue of porting.

As you would like to transfer your prepaid-number to your postpaid-contract, it is exactly the other way around. You need to start with your prepaid-number -41 at the end and please mention as your current contract your postpaid-number -37 at the end.

I could not submit the order for porting the number using the other way arround. I have mentioned the steps below:
1: Login with prepaid number (XXXXXXX41)
2: Enter the postpaid number to take with me (XXXXXXXX37)
Error pops-up while checking the possibility i.e,
Unfortunately, it is not possible to take the number from O2DE to O 2 with you.
If you want to use new conditions with your phone number, you can extend your existing contract.

I have submitted the order. I did the same way twice before but the porting was not done.
1: Can you please check at your end whether the order is received this time? 2: Do I have some credit in my 02 prepaid sim before submitting the order?
FYI: My current balance in 02 prepaid sim is 0.40Euros.

Your prepaid-number will be transferred on 4th February to your postpaid-tariff. The transfer will be for free.
I have one question left which is: what will happen to my current postpaid number 017666xxxxxx after 4th February?

Hi, I already received the date for porting my O2 prepaid number to a new O2 postpaid number which i just subscribe last weeks, it (number porting) will be on this 16.12.2021. My question are, what will happen during the change of number on 16.12.2021? Should i remain both sim cards on? And after the change happened, I will be using the new sim card or the old prepaid sim card?
Hi @Wafi ,
the old prepaid card will be deactivated during the porting process. You can use it as long as you can receive a network. The new SIM will receive a SMS once the porting process is complete. This usually takes place before noon, so it can be helpful to have both cards on hand.
