Hello dear O2 support team.I have a long, annoying story with O2, which is making me crazy. Please bear with me and read to end.I made a landline internet contract, through a phone call, more than 5 month ago. But my connection didn’t work after the activation date. I tried to call the support team several times, but since I can’t speak German, I had real problems. Finally, a technician came to my house after one month, and checked the ports in the house. He told me that my house isn’t connected to the cable connections, and I cannot have a cable internet. He told me that I need to get DSL internet from Telekom (don’t ask me why). He also told that he will tell the respective department to cancel my contract. After that, I bought a DSL internet from Telekom, and now I have very stable internet connection from Telekom. But, my contract with O2 isn’t terminated, and I’m still paying for some internet connection which I don’t have, and it seems that no one in O2 is willing to solve the pr

I clicked the option change IBAN but nothing is poping up. Can someone please help me with this ? as this is really urgent for me. Thank you in advanced.o2_Antje: Moved from Austausch rund um die Community to Englisch Community / 26.10.2022 / 11:31 Uhr

How do I find my O2 prepaid SIM card number? I have lost the package the SIM card came in and the number printed at the back of the plastic sim card is 13-digit but doesn't start with 00. Also this number consists of 10 digits in one row and 3 digits are written separately at the bottom. Is this the actual SIM card Number??

Hello,I would like to transfer my current mobile phone number(o2) to another service provider. How could I request this? I have a prepaid SIM card.Once you have provided the opt-in it will it be confirmed??? can I sign up with my other mobile provider? Do I need to maintain a balance of more than 6,82 EUR for the portability and will the fee will be charged? And how can I get back my leftover money in my bank account?Thank you edit o2_Tobias: moved from o2 Prepaid to our English Community

Good evening, I’m trying to change my PS4s NAT type so that I can play video games online again.  I've tried resetting my wifi connection as well as using a LAN connection.  How can I adjust this setting? Thank you.

Hi,I ordered a O2 Homespot which came yesterday with a new sim. I activated it but I was not given a number and so I couldn't open a My O2 account. It would be great if you could tell me  how to get the number using my  19 digit SIM card numberAfter I activated my sim and used the YouTube video to set my HomeSpot up I’m getting not connected on the o2.spot page. I looked at this post and followed the steps mentioned there.https://hilfe.o2online.de/o2-homespot-o2-my-data-spot-21/homespot-mobilfunkverbindung-nicht-verbunden-dringend-553175So when I make the network settings to LTE/3G the Homespot connects to the Vodafone 3G  When I change to LTE only it does connect to O2 LTE but keeps on disconnecting.  I have tried to register on the network manually and it still doesn’t help. I see that that the base station near me has a problem. Is that the reason?  Can you please tell me how can I fix this. This is highly urgent as I need this for work. Best regards,AnjishnuEdit by o2:Andrea: versc

My case is practically the same as described in this topic:Yet I have no choice but describe my situation, hoping it will resolve my problem. I don't speak German and when trying to call the English line I'm being forwarded to German speaking tech guys... I managed to get a ticket for my issue, but the next step from SMS says to call to German line.. (so it's basically a loop)When ordering a cable internet plan the system showed the nearest available date for activation in 2 or 3 weeks from the date of making the actual order. Too long, but I thought it was related to the busyness of the technicians. My date of activation was postponed for 4 days from the initial date, but although it was a sad fact, it is not the real problem. At the date of activation I just received a message that my service was successfully activated, and there was no technician visit at my place. Needless to say my internet is not working (I have a blinking Power/Cable LED, and the connection cannot be established)

Hi O2 team,I ordered via check24 (sparhandy) an iPhone 13 with 60 GB of data and received the following rejection “Achtung: Der Anbieter o2 har Ihren Auftrag storniert”. I went to an office of o2 in frankfurt and the people there told me that they cannot say the exact reason for the rejection because it most probably is related to my credit assessment which I guess comes from the IBAN I provided during the order. I am absolutely sure that there should not be an issue with my credit rating or whatever similar. I would like to understand the exact reason because it is quite frustrating the fact I would like to be your client and would like to sign 2 year contract and in the same time I am treated like a criminal without any explanation. This has never happened in the past when I was signing contracts with other providers. Please let me know what should I do in order to get this solved ASAP as I need would like to take the offer I got from Check24 with buying a phone and signing contract.

Hello, I am trying to switch my Lidl connect sim (which is operated with prepaid Vodafone) to O2. My contract is already terminated. I want to port my number, keeping the same number that I have.  Can someone please guide me on how to do the same? I don’t have any network currently, and It’s really difficult for me to hence call any number. Thanks and regards Edit o2_Sven: Nach English o2 Community: Mobile verschoben

I bought a sim card yesterday at an shop and the person activated my card, with my address and id. But when I put the card into my cell phone nothing happens. It still shows as though I have no service. Unfortunately I can’t call to get any help because this is my only phone. It doesn’t seem like there is anywhere online to check whether the sim card is actually activated so not sure what to do from here.

Connecting to the internet via a O2 HomeBox 6742 (connected to DSL), my Ubuntu laptop can hardly reach anything except for Google and its services, including YouTube, Spotify, and Breitbandmessung.Connections mostly time out before receiving any data, both in all web browsers and when using ping or traceroute. Sometimes I can reach websites like GitHub, StackOverflow, or o2online.de (my ISP's customer portal) when retrying and reloading frequently, but most of the time I can't reach them at all.Connecting via ethernet cable, it's only a little bit better. The same laptop has no connection problems using any other router, including a hotspot from my android mobile and numerous coworking cafés.The same router did not show any severe connection problems with any other client so far, including an Android 13 phone and a Lenovo ThinkPad both with Linux Mint and Windows 10, although you can see timeouts in the ThinkPad traceroute protocols.According to my O2's customer support, the router is

After looking for a new smartphone and getting a nice flat offer as new customer, I decided to go with o2, even some friends told me that’s a crappy company. I I pre-ordered the Huawei P30 pro on 1st of april 2019, so I signed the new contract. A day after I guess I received an email said I did need to pay in advance 167 € even though the offer said that I don 't need to pay anything. OK. That was not an issue. I pre-paid that ammount, I received my phone, my sim card, everything is fine. Later in mid-June I am ordering the O2 DSL for home. I was charged the connection fee. Later in late september I had some issues with N26 bank, which caused soem SEPA payments to fail ... Because of this fail, I decided to pay O2. so it was 2 separate transfers during a single month one for 25 € and on for 41.50 €. I went to the O2 app to check the descriptor of payments and 41.50 €. Then I received the support and said that is 41.50 € is the payment for the phone, and 25 € is for the sim card flar ra

Hello Experts, My o2 DSL connection was activated yesterday and i have configured it as per guideline by using the o2 my service App but it’s stuck at DSL Syncroniztion step for hours and then fails.  When i open http://o2.box then it’s also failing at second step which is status of DSL connection which is coming as not connected.  I am frustrated with this any help would be highly appreciated.

I recently switched from a DSL contract to a new contract with a 5G home spot, because in my new appartment this was more convenient. As I received a new “kundennummer”, I assume I will need to register this in “Mein O2” again, as I will need a new account. (I am writing this from my old DSL contract account that will be terminated in a couple of days)However, whenever I try to register in Mein O2, I get the error  "Dieser Service ist aktuell nicht erreichbar. Bitte versuchen Sie es später erneut." (in the screen where I fill in my PKK, nutzername, and neues kennwort).I do all this in my browser. I cannot download the app yet as it is not available in my country (I recently moved here from the Netherlands). I do want to change to a German phone number, but to set up a phone contract I would like to login to Mein O2 as well to possibly claim benefits from already being an O2 customer. So, is there any way for me to register and be able to access Mein O2?Thanks!

Hello.  I’d like to release my prepaid phone number for portability. Do I understand correctly that after this is done I can still continue to use it until the transfer/port is complete? If so, please proceed with releasing the phone number. Thanks!

Dear O2 Team, I have O2 Prepaid SIM and I have applied for POSTPAID with another provider. I want to use my same O2 number (Portability). New provider asked me to get confirmation from O2 team.I could not contact O2 team to release the contract. Could you please check and release my number for portability ?  Regards,Gayathri P

I have recently got a new eSim for my new iPhone 14 pro. Hello o2, can you please stop the interruptions for adsl users or at least increase the time like other adsl providers already did (see https://hilfe.o2online.de/o2-dsl-vertrag-tarife-33 /24-hour-forced-separation-588124)? Before, i heard that due to law, the connection of private customer is forced to be disconnected every 24 hours. OK fine we have nothing to do with the law. Now o2 offers cable option for private customer which does not have such interruptions (see https://hilfe.o2online.de/router-software-internet-telefonie-34/tarif-ohne-zwangstrennung-593967). I am using o2 adsl and unfortunately, cable option is not available at my place, and the router that o2 gave me does not have the option to change time to be disconnected. edit: moved from Router…, 6.9.2022, 19.01 Uhr, o2_Micha It is best if the improvment is performed automatically (exising customers do not need to register for it). Best regards,An o2 adsl customer

Hi there,I have signed a contract with O2 in August (both Mobilfunk and Kabel), but I mentioned that I will only use them on September. The agent told me that this is fine (his scam, but my mistake).I started using my phone number this week, and it doesn't work, I literally have to tape it to a specific place in my window to get a humble bandwidth of data. Why would I need data in my appartement when I have Kabel? Because O2 also failed to send me the router/box, so I also have no Kabel internet. So now, I am stuck with no phone coverage and no internet, and their support is playing games.Today they sent me a bill for a service that doesn't work. It so crazy.I am already in contact with lawyers who are studying the situation, but it is less likely that they will help. I also spoke with the federal office of consumer protection. But I would like to know if someone went through this path before. How did you do it and what it is your advice ?Cheers.
