Tarif O2 Free Unlimited Max (2021) additional data sim card

Hi,

I have the O2 free unlimited max tariff, is it possible to order a second sim-card (Just data sim card) and use it in a Wi-Fi router to have internet a home?
And if yes, how much would it cost?
And which Wi-Fi routers can I use for this purpose?

Thanks is advance!

Hello @Zoyzoz ,

as part of your o2 Free Unlimited Max you can’t order a datacard to go alongside your normally used multicard. You can however get a second multicard. This would cost you 10€ extra as a monthly fee. The usage in stationary, directly wired routers is technically not allowed, but this is currently not being enforced.

Kind regards, Sven

Hello @o2_Sven ,

Thank you so much for your answer,

By saying “stationary, directly wired routers”, do you mean routers that are connected to an ethernet cable?
In other words, can I order a second multicard and install it in a stationary Wi-Fi router just for Wi-Fi (Without an ethernet cable)? Would it be okay?  And are there any conditions or provisions to do so?
And could you clarify what do you mean by “currently not being enforced.”?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Best regards,
Zoyzoz

10€ per month and 39,99€  once for 1 Multicard extra.

You can install the Multicard in every mobile.. my mother has it in a 2nd mobile phone for Hotspot (for TV) at home and other ... 🙈

You are of course correct Bollermann, I should have mentioned the one time activation fee. Thanks for the correction.

Kind regards, Sven
