Hi all,

I have the Home Spot M LTE plan, and since last week I have been getting very bad internet service.

A lot of pages do not load completely and there are huge fluctuations in internet speed. With the speed test on the O2 app I get ping ranging from 39 ms to 15095 ms (yes fifteen thousand ping) and only 1.5Mbit/s on my 50Mbit plan. What makes it worse is that the ping fluctuates so wildly and erratically it is difficult to do online meetings.

So far I have restarted the modem and my laptop multiple times, and even compared it with my LTE connection on another provider Lebara which works perfectly. I have also checked my location (55116 Mainz) which has no ongoing maintenance scheduled. In the router i have 4/5 bars connection to the network with at least 3 base stations around since I stay near to the Hbf. Would anyone be able to help or give any advice? Thanks.

I'm sorry you're having trouble with your homespot. If I understand you correctly, the connection was fine until a week ago and now the problems are suddenly appearing?

Have you already tried placing the homespot in a different location, e.g. near a window?

Thanks for the reply, the connection has been working ok for about 4 weeks and the home spot has been in the same place, just two metres or so from a window, until the problems started last week all of a sudden.

Hello @eventhorizon,

right now there seem to be no known issues in the vicininty of the area you stated. I recommend to have a look at our mobile livecheck with your full address. If you still experience the issues you can give feedback using the feedback button so our technical departement can have a deeper look into this :-)
