Hello,
I bought a new Samsung phone from Germany and used a SIM from O2, the phone works well. Unfortunately when I inserted my Egyptian SIM the mobile does not work and the following message appeared "SIM network PIN blocked enter SIM network PUK".
Actually, I am contacting Samsung technical support team to solve this issue, and they are asking for the network service provider in Germany to request a network unlock code. In this particular way, once I get a network unlock code from O2 in Germany, that is the time I can put it on the phone and then I use the phone in Egypt using an Egyptian SIM.
Could you advise, how to solve it because I'm going to Egypt again this Saturday and I need to use the Egyptian SIM card.

Hi @017xzxzxzxz8 ,
all the phones sold by o2 Germany come without any network lock. However, a Samsung phone can have an initial regional lock.
So if you use your phone with the German SIM card by making an actual phone call for roundabout ten minutes, the phone will be unlocked and can be used with any SIM card from another country.
If you cannot or do not wish to make such a phone call, you can contact Samsung in order for them to unlock this regional lock.
Best regards,
Jan.

Many thanks for your response. Actually I did many phone calls which exceed 1 hr, but SIM still locked.
Any advise.

Hi @017xzxzxzxz8 ,
I'd suggest it would be best to contact Samsung since we cannot provide a network unlock code because there is no network lock on our phones. According to our data, things work fine and hopefully Samsung can unlock your phone for the use with the Egyptian SIM.
Best regards,
Jan.
