Hello, I recently signed-up to O2 for the first time due to moving apartments. However my order has been still stuck in “Order Confirmation” status with no further updates making me concerned something might be up with my order. My past experience was with Vodafone where the whole process was relatively quick.

 

Additional thing I noticed, I have two phone numbers (one non-german one, which I generally prefer to use out of convenience) When I input that one, it automatically added german suffix to the beginning of it making it unusable, and with there being no real way for me to change it now. The apartment already has cable connection setup, so a technician visit shouldn't be necessary, but its still something id like to correct.

I am very pleased that we can welcome you as a new customer. When exactly did you order and have you already received a welcome letter with the activation date?

If possible, a contact phone number should always be a German number, since (expensive) calls abroad, e.g. by our technicians, cannot be made.

Sorry for the late response, I had just received a letter along with the activation date, so I assume that question is taken care of.

However, in the letter it is written that my contract would have a monthly cost of 85 euros which is x2 as much as the price that was mentioned on my Vertragszusammenfassung that I received in email when I signed up.

I signed up for O2 my home XXL which should still have the discount option available when signing up. Is it still valid or was I somehow misled to sign up for a Tariff that is much more expensive than advertised ?

can you please check in your order confirmation: a little further down there should be two discounts (Rabatt) amounting to 40,00 EUR/Month and 12 x 10,00 EUR monthly.

If they are missing, please let me know.

Yes, they appear there on the other page. Kind of a confusing way of showing the overall price of the contract, but ill assume it means that the discount is applied. Thank you for clearing it up.
