Number Porting


Hello, I've had my O2 number cancelled and released. But my new provider keeps telling me that the porting wasn't possible. I want to know if there is anything that I'm not doing right or is there something I need to pay. Assistance would be appreciated.

Hello @FlossWhale27 ,

if the contract has already ended then there shouldn’t be anything stopping your new provider from porting the number as it gets released with the end of the contract. Porting a number itself did cost in the past, but has been free for some time by now, so that isn’t an issue either. The porting itself is done on the end of your new provider so they are the ones that you’ll have to talk to about this.
