Why was I charged 4,99€ for a Multicard that I don't have?

Would one of the o2 experts here please help? I have 2 contracts (one for myself and one for my son), I just extended the contract for my son and checked the follow-up email - it says there’s a 4,99€ fee for a “multicard”. What is this, and how can I remove it from the contract?

Apparently 2 SIM cards are included in the contract. Wait here for an o2 employee. He can remove the additional SIM card from the contract.

Thank you burner, appreciated.

@mods/O2: can you please check and if necessary remove, the second Multicard from both my phone numbers please? I don't know if there's a way to recover the money I've been charged over the last few years for these, but I'd there is it would be highly appreciated especially now because I've just been made redundant and money is tight

Number 1: ending in 717

Number 2: sending in 298

Have a great start to the week!

Charles

Hello @bmot ,

this 2nd Multicard isn’t anything new, you just had the Connect option within the previous contract and with your newly chosen o2 Mobile M this isn’t the case anymore. If you could tell us the last three digits of the simcard that we should deactive, we’ll take a look at is.

Kind regards, Sven

Hi @o2_Sven many thanks for the reply.

The sim card to be de-activated (for the phone number ending in 298), ends in 407

The sim card to be de-activated (for the phone number ending in 717), ends in 667

Thanks for any help you can give me. Note thatd I don’t have either of these sim cards. The first one was sent to me free a few years ago, I did have it deactivated and didn't realise the charge has been reinstated. The other is a replacement for a phone I reported to o2 as stolen in July 2022

Hello @bmot,

thank you very much. We have deactivated both SIM cards.

Best Regards,

Gerrit
