Very very slow mobile internet

Hi,

I’ve been using O2 pre-paid for a year now and it’s been fine so far except for the past 2 weeks. My mobile internet is super slow to the point that I can’t use any internet at all, in wherever I go all over Berlin as I commute around a lot. Nothing loads, even apps like instagram, google maps, youtube or even the weather app. it still doesn’t load after 5 minutes so I think somethine’s wrong. I thought my balance was too low and refilled it. now I have 57euro in the balance and still doesn’t work

I already did the Live-Check and there is no trouble in my area.

What’s happening and is there anything you can do about it?

Thanks

Hello @Mintra ,

while you can port your number over to a prepaidcard, your current contract would continue to run until the end of the contract duration, so you can’t directly change from postpaid to prepaid.

Kind regards, Sven

Welcome to the Community @Mintra. 😊

All over Berlin you have these issues? Then it doesn't sound like a fault in the network at first

Is there someone with you who also has o2 as a contractual partner?

Do they have the same difficulties with the network in the same area too?

Best regards

Steffen

Yes, I had the issues all over Berlin. and No, I don’t have anyone as a contractual partner.

the internet speed has come back since last week and I don’t know why. I haven’t changed anything or refill more money.

also, is there anyway I can change to prepaid and keep the same number?

Best,

Mintra
