my prepaid sim number is : 01XXXXXXXX.
I did not use it for a few months. Now it is not working. What to do now? Can you please activate my number?

Hey @Sayed23,

welcome to the o2 community!

Is your question about prepaid or postpaid 🙂?

Greetings,
Flo

@o2_Flo Its a prepaid connection.

Hello @Sayed23,

if you do not top up your credit for several months, the prepaid card will be cancelled. How long has it been since the last top up?

If it has already been deactivated, you can use this form to get the remaining credit back: Prepaid - Guthabenauszahlung

You can port your phone number to a new SIM card if you still need it.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Best regards

Giulia

Dear @o2_Giulia

Thanks for your reply. I got it. I recharged around 6 months ago. Now can you please tell me the process of number porting?

Regards

Sayed

Also If possible do it from your end to my address that mentioned on the sim reg form.

Hey @Sayed23 ,
thank you for your patience.
Please check the Link: Number porting | O₂ Community (o2online.de)
Do you want to port your number within the o2 brand or are you porting to a new provider?
You can also ask your new provider to port your number.
For the porting process, it is crucial that your name and address matches the one on your old contract.
Do you need futher support?
Best, Matea

@o2_Flo I got the below email when I tried to port in Lebara. What is the problem?

Hi @Sayed23 ,

have you set up the Opt-In for your number?

It is mentioned in the guide as the following:
For porting, you only need to go to the menu item "Tarif & SIM-Karte" and then to the tab "Vertrag verwalten". There you will find "o2 Rufnummer zu einem anderen Anbieter mitnehmen”.

This step grants your number the permission to be exported. You`d need to have access to your “Mein o2”-Account in order to access this setting. If you can`t access your account due to the SIM, please let us know. We´ll then switch to personal messages in order to exhange the data necessary.

Kind regards,
Kurt

@o2_Kurt yes I have no access to the o2 account or SIM card. I didn't recharge credit on on my prepaid SIM card and now it is not showing any network. So I want to reactivate/ replace/ port the number. Can you please give me a solution? should i mention my phone number here or can you give me an email to contact you regarding this? And help me to get access of that SIM card.

Hey @Sayed23 ,
sometimes sim cards can be reactivetad. It depends on the deactivation progress.

should i mention my phone number here or can you give me an email to contact you regarding this?

I’m glad you are asking. You should not share your full number, because this is a public community.
But you can give me the 4 last digits of the number that should be re-activated and I’ll be happy to check🙂

If you are still interested in porting, please go and check ➡️Call number transfer o2 Prepaid | O₂ Community (o2online.de)

Kind regards, Matea

Hey @Sayed23 ,
would you mind writing me a private message with your full number via @o2_Support ?
I see one number under your name, which is not fully registrated? Would you check your Mails to end the activation process, if you are still interested?
And no signs of the number with the last 4-digts you sent.
Best, Matea

Hey @Sayed23 ,
I was wondering if you still need support?
If so, please send me your full number via @o2_Support
