Releasing prepaid phone number

Hello. 

 

I’d like to release my prepaid phone number for portability. 

Do I understand correctly that after this is done I can still continue to use it until the transfer/port is complete? If so, please proceed with releasing the phone number.

You can do this in your mein o2 App.

Menü → Tarif & Optionen → Rufnummermitnahme → Rufnummer jetzt freigeben

    Hi @K4121329908D,

    The o2 moderation can release your number for porting. However, this may take a little time.

    You can then use your o2 prepaid SIM card until the early morning of the day of porting. However, it may then take a few hours until you can be reached on your new SIM card under the phone number. The o2 prepaid SIM card will then be switched off.

    Porting is free of charge. You can have the remaining credit paid out by post using this form: https://www.o2online.de/assets/blobs/pdfs/prepaid-guthabenauszahlung/.

    My sincere apologies, that was my mistake. The number has not yet been released for porting. The o2 moderation team will let you know. 

    If you want it to go faster, you could call the prepaid hotline. Unfortunately, they only speak German
