Hello,

I have an issue with the bill that was invoiced to me. I bought the package of the 60GB Sim card and the Wifi for 50 Euros per month (as mentioned by the seller in the store in Munich), however I have received an invoice for over 80 Euros. There is no way for me to go to a local store as there are no O2 stores in my city and I do not understand German so I cannot contact the Hotline either. Can you please either give me an email address that I can appeal to or please help me. I am a student and on budget, and as I have just moved to Germany this changes in the amount in the invoice is rather shocking to me.

Dear @Pingu99 ,

first of all, welcome to our forum. Nice you have found your way to us. :-)

I took a look at your invoice and will explain it to you.

You ordered two contracts.

One is a o2 Free L Boost with 60 GB data volume a month. You’ll have to pay 44,99 Euros -15 Euros (young people doscount) = 29,99 Euros a month for it (because of the billing period you have credited just one day in this invoice).

In the first invoice you also have to pay the one time connection fee, which amount to 39,99 Euro. The fee arises for new contracts.

The onther one is the o2 My Data Spot Unlimited Kombi. It belongs to the o2 My Home Spot you bought. It costs 39,99 Euros - 20 Euro (2nd SIM discount) - 5 Euros (hardware discount) = 14,99 Euros a month (because of the billing period you have credited just one day in this invoice).

In the first invoice you also have to pay the one time connection fee, which amount to 39,99 Euro. The fee arises for new contracts.

one day of 29,99 Euros costs 0,97 Euros

one day of 14,99 Euros costs 0,48 Euros

+ 39,99 Euros

+ 39,99 Euros

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

81, 43 Euros

So next month your invioce for the two contracts amount 29,99 Euros +14,99 Euros = 44,98 Euros.

I hope I could bring a little light into the darkness.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. It explains a lot. I do have one question regarding my homespot whereby in the invoice it shows that i have to pay a balance of €115,00 which amounts to a total of €145,00. I do not understand why I am required to pay this amount. I would appreciate it if you can help me with this too. Thank youu

Hello there!

This amount ( 145 €) is actually correct.

You´ve already paid the first part, 25 € up front.

There were still 24 rates, 5 € each per month, remaining. Those are being balanced out by the benefit “24 x 5 € Rabatt auf Hardware”, which is booked on the SIM-contract.

That is why you´ll see two different deductions each month: One for the SIM-contract, and one for the hardware.

I hope this clarifies the situation a bit :hugging:

Viele Grüße,

Kurt
