Not requested contract changes

Hello

I was in an O2 shop to ask about an option. I have been told that It needs to be activated and my signature was needed. I discovered the day after that many changes were done to my contract: extension and raise of the tariff of the actual number, new prepaid number was added. I was not told anything about those changes there was no request or discussion at all about any of them. I was not given any sim card so that I can know at the moment.

I returned to O2 shop the day after and requested a cancelation. They told me that O2 will give me a respone in 14 days. I also sent a letter to the O2 kundenbetreuung to explain this.

Does someone had the same experience before and could cancel changes ? What else can Ido ?

The contract you signed in the shop did not contain the conditions you now have? Where did you see these changed conditions?

I signed using the sign pad, I didn't check it as I was thinking that Im just signing to activating an option. I never expected that this can happen. I only asked if this is free and they said yes.

I saw the conditions changes when I read my emails the day after.

Tip: Never sign a contract on a digital pad! Always ask for a printout and sign only that.

If the shop is not prepared to put this right then the only thing you can do is send in a written complaint about the shop.

Hi @Nozha :relaxed:

like @bs0 I would suggest to speak with the colleagues in the shop too, or alternatively write a letter. Maybe they can change/cancel the contract.

Normally there is a right of withdrawal within 14 days, but unfortunately it’s legit for online orders or contract which were ordered by phone.

Best regards,

Michi
