Good morning @ceo1025
you can revoke an early payment within 14 days. It's best to contact customer service by phone and clarify the matter over the phone or wait here until an o2 moderator answers. But that may take a few days. Better contact customer service. greeting
Hi @ceo1025 ,
This is really a shock, I've just ordered and now the instalment contract has been deactivated. You requested early termination of the contract on 17/07/2024. You would have had 14 days to cancel. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do now to reinstate the hire contract.
Kind regards, Maren
Hi. Thank you for your reply.
I contacted customer service about this and they said they have terminated my request for early termination.

Did you receive confirmation by email or text? Not wanting to be negative, but customer services sometimes say things without actually being sure they are correct. If it worked out then great, if not you can phone the billing department and it should at least be possible to arrange payment of the balance in 3 installments.
Hello @ceo1025,
when did you contact the support with the request to cancel the early termination of the contract?
Kind regards, Maren

Hi there.
When I contacted they informed me that they will send confirmation through email. But now have received anything yet.

Hello @ceo1025,
You are receiving a letter in the post which says exactly what I have already told you: The instalment contract is cancelled and the cancellation is outside the deadline.
Kind regards, Maren
Yeah so I again I called the customer service now and they said that the request has been cancelled as it has passed the 14 day period.
And they gave me a solution :
So this month on a date they will try to deduct the whole amount from my bank. I should either have to keep a lower balance or contact my bank to avoid the payment.
Then I can request a new installment plan from the finance department.
Thank you for your feedbacks.

Hello @ceo1025,
this means that you can cancel the debit of the full amount and then take no further action. If you receive a letter requesting payment, contact the dunning department. You can only agree to a maximum of 4 instalments. There is not much room for manoeuvre, but we will be happy to help if you have any further questions.
Kind regards, Maren
Hi @ceo1025,
it's been a while and I wanted to ask if there are any news or if you need my help?
Regards, Maren
Hello @ceo1025,

Hello,
Thank you for been helpful on this issue. As it was too much trouble I paid the remaining amount in full.
Buy I condemn the activity of O2 as a reputed brand. They must be informing the clients about the early repayment request via email so the customer knows whether it was his request or a mistake and he could possibly cancel it (if he wishes).
Thank you.
Hello @ceo1025
Great that you have paid the balance in the meantime. Unfortunately, there was no other option after the 14 days of the right of withdrawal expired. I understand what you mean, but you canceled the installment plan online yourself.
Feel free to contact us again at any time if you have any questions.
Have a nice weekend
Kathi
Hello @ceo1025,
as the early cancellation of an installment plan can only be cancelled via the Login in a customer account in an internet browser or the Mein o2 app, the confirmation is then shown online as well.
From then on the revocatoion period of 14 days begins.
Best Regards,
Gerrit
