It probably doesn't have anything to do with your IBAN (you can use an IBAN from any bank that enables SEPA direct debits, though you would incur fees every month with a British IBAN due to the currency conversion) but your creditworthiness. This can happen if you have not been in Germany very long so have no credit rating.
Hello @pauline.i ,
welcome to our community!
As bs0 already said: IBAN from EU can be used, GB-IBANs cannot be used.
The IBAN from Spain should be working.
Should I take a look in the systems?
If yes, we can change to private messages for the data exchange.
I´m looking forward to your response.
Best regards,
Manuela
@o2_Manuela
UK IBANs should still be useable as the UK is still part of the SEPA system, but it doesn't make sense for the customer due to the charges (unless it is a Euro account of course).
Thank you to both of you for replying and trying to help!
@o2_Manuela I would really appreciate it if you could have a look in the system and find out how we can solve the problem. Will be in touch with you in the privet messages.
Have a great day!
Hello @bs0 ,
that GB-IBANs do not work anymore is the information that I have from our systems.
But I can understand what you mean.
@pauline.i You will get a private message from o2_Support shortly.
Best regards,
Manuela
