Internet speed > 10 times lower than the contract

Hello, I am on O2 XXL and should have up to 1000 Mbps download speed, yet I have under 100 Mbps even with the cable conected to the device, wireless is even worse. This cannot be normal, I am paying for the largest package and I’m receiving the internet for probably the lowest one.

That your Coaxconnection only works at a tenth of the booked speed is of course not intended, have you already had contact to the technical department? Else the screens and questions that schluej asked for might help us identify where the issue is.

Could you send us the following screens:

Übersicht (overview), Kanäle (channels) and Statistik.

The Router is rent from O2?

If not please manufacture, type and if FRITZ!Box Artikelnummer.

Hello, where can I check the screen above? I checked multiple online internet speed testers but I don’t know where to log in to see what you shared in the printscreen. Thank you

@ClaudiaC0502 http://fritz.box  (your password for login is on the backside from the Fritzbox → Fritzbox Kennwort)

Hint After login you can switch your box to English. Go System/Region und Sprache and change from „Deutsch“ to „English“

how are things looking on your end? Is the speed of your internet connection still unstable or were things solved, did you maybe have contact with the technical department? I’m looking forward to your response.
