Hi There,

I started using 28,45 EUR 10GB plan when I bought my new iPhone with o2 SIM two years from Nov, 2018. So the installments ended on Nov,2020. However the contract got extended from 10.12.20 without my concern and I am still paying 28,45 EUR. I am planning to switch to some cheaper plan, how I can switch my data plan?

 

Also, I have activated an extra 10GB data plan at  14,99 EUR just for one month. How I can cancel this scheme from next month(Feb, 2021)?

The additional data can be cancelled via the customer portal.

If you want to change to a cheaper tarif you will need to extend the contract by two years. Note: Contracts do not end automatically. If you don’t terminate your contract it will continue to be extended every year for a further twelve months.

Thanks for the response.

About my contract: I can find the option to cancel the contract. My concerns are

  1. Also do I need to cancel the current contract first, then only I can take a new one?
  2. Whether I get to use the same phone number if I cancel the contract and get another cheaper one.

If your contract was automatically extended in November 2020 then the earliest you can terminate it is November 2021. You can though simply extend the existing contract actively by two years from now and change your tarif. You would also keep your number. Note: This is not a new contract. If you enter into a new contract now you will pay for two contracts!
