Get public ip address for homespot

Hello, I need my network to be accessible from outside, but so far failed to set up port forwarding. It seems the reason it didn't work is that I'm not getting a public ip address.

I saw threads on here requesting a public ip address. Would this please also be possible for my lte homespot connection?

Thanks in advance

Hi @FIST,

welcome to our community. 🙂

Yes, it’s possible to enable a public ip address, but it will cost a fee of 49,99 euro. If this is okay for you, just send me a message here and I will enable the public ip.

The functionality depends on what you want to do with the ip address, in some cases you maybe need a dyn. dns service to make the ip visible.

Best regards,

Michi
