Emailed for an order i did not make


Hi,

I called the English customer service hotline to request an email adress. Afterwards I was sent an email thanking me for an order I never placed. Can you please clarify why I was email this:

 

Hallo Frau Smith,
Vielen Dank für Ihren Auftrag, den wir gerne entgegen genommen haben. Für die folgenden Service-Leistungen berechnen wir Ihnen unten stehende einmalige Gebühr. Weitere Informationen finden Sie hier zusammengefasst.

Hello @A D Smith ,

nothing was ordered on that date or close to it. I can only guess that some kind of system order send out this rather “empty” email, as it also doesn’t list anything at all.

Great thank you for confirming no orders were made. However there were two large attachments connected to the email? Can I disregard these?

both mails had the “Datenschutzmerkblatt” as attachment which is always send along, it contains information concerning data privacy and protection.
