Hi O2 team,

today I enrol for an extension, and because I already have a mobile phone from my previous o2 contract, I choose the O2 Free L - 24 months option without Handy and any other add-ons. It says the cost is 9.99/month. 

However I am a bit confuse when reading Preise & Rabatte page, it shows that base price will be 39.99, with Hardware Benefit and discount bis zum 01.09.2024. Does it also means the hardware benefit and discount is valid for every month? At the end it will still be 9.99/month and not 39.99/month, right?

 

 

After the extension, the old discount will be deleted. You will pay EUR 9.99 again for the next 24 months.

It's great that you want to extend your contract. 
The discount expires after 24 months and if you don't extend the contract again. The tariff will then cost the regular €39.99.

Turns out I just need to wait the next day until the contract activated. I have received the update on the price and rabatte page. now it shows like this, with rabatt bis zum 08.08.2026. so I think the discount will applies monthly till 2026. and I will pay 9,99 similar to the offering. All good then. Thank you so much!
