Cancellation of a number in my name

Hi,

If I could do this in writing with Google translate, I would. But apparently I have to call and I don’t speak

Deutsche.

I have two numbers under my name.  I just want to cancel one of them, ending in 1663.

Apparently I have to call O2, and I know I’m going to get hung up on, or not even able to get through.

What sucks is that this number has been active for more than 2 years, so it’s not like O2 didn’t get paid.

What can I do?  Because if I have to hire someone, it will be a lawyer.  And I don’t want that and neither does anybody else.

Thanks,

Jake

Hi @anothercustomer ,
please excuse the late reply. It's a pity that you want to terminate your contract. May I ask what the reason is? Maybe we can find another solution together. If
You cannot cancel your contract by phone only. But you have the possibility to

  • write us by mail or fax that you want to terminate your contract. This is also possible in English. The adress is below in our english FAQ
  • make a note of your cancellation online in My o2 and then confirm it by phone, if you wish.

You will also find some english FAQ. Maybe they will help you.
Best regards
Larissa
