Hello @mido123, welcome at our community.
I am sorry that there were some misunderstandings due to the language barrier and that you are dissatisfied.
Do you have a prepaid or Postpaid Contract?
Kind regards, Ines.
It was a prepaid contract. That says I pay 18.99 Euros every month, and there was a one-time fee of 39.99 Euros, for 50GB. I don't need 50GB, and that amount every month is overboard for me as an international student who has no job. And it was not explained very well, he explained as if I would only pay once for those two years and I enjoy the service.
Hello @mido123,
You can actually cancel a prepaid card at any time by simply not topping up any new credit.
However, what you have described sounds more like a (postpaid) contract that usually runs for 24 months.
When have you concluded the contract and was it a phone or online order? Or did you sign the contract in a shop?
Best regards
Giulia
I did sign a contract in a shop?
Hello @mido123,
in this case, the contract can only be canceled by the dealer himself. Have you spoken to him about this yet?
According to German law, there is no right of withdrawal when concluding a contract in a shop, unlike in the case of contracts concluded by telephone or online. It is therefore a matter of goodwill on the part of the shop employee.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Best regards
Giulia
I tried to speak to him but he refused to listen to me and even threatened to chase me out of his shop.
Hello @mido123,
our colleagues of the o2cando facebook-Team have already filed a complaint for your issue.
I have to ask you for a little patience here.
Best regards
Giulia
