5G data issues


Hi there, I’m having service issues with my mobile data - where I’m living I can rarely get a data connection and if I manage to do so my 5G speeds are few hundred kbit/s and will constantly disconnect. This is using a iPhone 14. 

I have a home Kable connection due to be connect on 20.01 and have received and set up the modem. I was able to connect to the internet when first connected (testing period). Is there any way to fast track the connection? I’m unable to work due to no internet. 

I have even tried a Giga cube router via another provider that also struggles to get a connection, plus I have tried my o2 SIM in a 4G/LTE iPhone and that will very occasionally gain a weak data connection for short periods.

My first question is, is your contactaddress correct? I can see a different Address for the new landline connection.

At the address of the landline contract I can see no restrictions in the mobile network, but at the contact address I can see some base stations with restrictions that could affect up to you.
Do you only have these problems at home or can you hardly receive mobile data in general?
Is it the same for both mobile phone contracts?

Hi Andrea, thanks for the welcome and response.

I have updated my address via the app, thanks for the reminder. The mobile data issue is only at home (the Kable connection address) and is the same for both mobile contracts.

At your update contact address I don't see any messages at the moment. Please use our live check once and report your restrictions there via "Feedback geben" for both contracts. The more people who report problems at an address, the more likely it is that our technology will take a look at it. 😉

What does the connection look like when you are outside? Sometimes it can be, that the used building supports in a house hinder the signal. 😕

Sometimes it can help to put the phone near the window or open a window (yes, I know it's winter) to improve the signal if it's good outside.
