Hello,

I have already terminated my "O2 my Home M" contract and I would like to know if I have to return the HomeSpot 5G router as soon as the contract ends or if I now own the device.

I pay for it in installments as a My Handy device.

If you have purchased the device, it is your property. A return is no longer possible after the statutory revocation period of 14 days (only if the purchase contract was concluded online or by telephone).

As far as I know, the o2 Homespot 5G from Askey was exclusively sold and not rented out. Therefore, the device does not need to and cannot be sent back to o2.

Hello @SelimBY,

thank you for your inquiry in our o2 community 😀

The homespot is currently being purchased by you via an installment plan. Once the last two installments have been paid, the router belongs to you.

A return is only necessary for rented devices, which is not the case here.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Best regards

Giulia
