Moving abroad, keep contract ?

Hello,

I currently live with my partner, and the DSL contract is only in my name.

I may be moving abroad in the future, but would like to keep the O2 internet that we have (as my partner will use it).

If I have left Germany, done the abmeldung etc., can I continue to keep the internet?

 

I know it is possible to change contract ownership, but I also read that earlier this year the service was broken (and not sure if it’s fixed yet).
