It has been three months since I am trying to change the ownership of my contract. Every time I open a request am told to wait for 14 days, but nothing happens after that. I have tried requesting for three times now, and still no effect!

O2 customer service is also crap, all they do is tell me to wait, I have already waited for 3 months and applied 3 times! How long before you solve this problem O2?

After you have started the change of ownership via https://www.o2online.de/goto/wechsel/ nothing further happens, or is there already an issue before this? Does the recipient of the ownershipchange not get the email, have you already tried a different address or checked that it wasn’t catched by the spamfilter?

The recipient of the ownership change gets an email and after he confirms I am notified by O2 to wait for a period of 14 days for the change to take effect. But nothing happens after 14 days, and when I contact the customer support about this, all they tell me is to wait. I have done this process thrice now, but no effect.

did the new owner accepted the contract summary via email?

This is important for the process to go on.

Yes! He did confirm the contract change via email.

After his confirmation O2 portal showed me that the new owner has confirmed and it would take 14 days for the change to happen.

14 days over nothing happened.

o2 portal resets to how it was before.

Did this 3 times, been doing it since April.

No effect.

i can see that your wish of the contract change is in processing by the specialist department.😊

The new contract holder will get more information via letter or E-Mail when the Process is accomplished.

I am relieved to hear that, can you please tell me how long will it take ?


@otwouser1234 I am sorry the order was cancelled this morning, cause the new owner didnt accept the new contact in time (he has 8 days to confirm on a web landing page).

We have to start the process again, but i assume this time the whole thing will be a bit easier cause we got all the info we need.

We will ask our colleagues from backoffice to create a new order to start the contract owner change, hopefully for the last time
