I just hired the internet (o2 my Home XL Flex (2020)) and I got by email an activation date of 11th March. I wont have internet anymore tomorrow and I would like to install this new internet faster. I have connect box from vodafone from previous contract. Can I use this router until the new one arrives? How can I activate the internet without the technician? I have good computer knowledge. Thanks

Welcome to our o2 community. I am afraid it not possible to activate your DSL at an earlier date.
We order the DSL Port at the earliest possible date for you, but sometimes it takes a while
to rent a free line from the local provider, so i am sorry, when the activation letter says it‘s march 11th
then we have to ask you for patience.

Thanks for you reply. Why cant they send me the router now and I install myself? Thats how I did with Vodafone and took just a few days maximum. 3 weeks is insane.
