Receiving messages - esp OTP

Did you recently change your phone?

Do you get other SMS from other countries and/ or SMS from Germany?

Is this only about receiving the messages? Can you send messages normally?
And have you by chance been able to reproduce the problem at different locations, or does it only occur at one particular location?

Hello O2 team and O2 community,

this seems to be a recurring issue, has a solution been found?

I started my O2 Business contract on November 28th, where i maintained the phone number of my former serice provider (via portability).
Since the start of the contract, I stopped receiving messages from my bank, paypal, Microsoft (for Microsoft authentication), etc.
Can you please confirm if O2 is blocking the receipt of these messages and what can be done to override the issue?

There is no way that we could be blocking certain messages. I have some questions:

Do you normally receive text messages from other senders?

Do you use multicards (only one card of the multicard set can receive text messages)?

What kind of smartphone do you use?

Hi Giulia,

I am able to receive messages from my contacts without issues. My problem is only with ‘one-time password’ messages . I have an Iphone 11 with only 1 sim card.

@ksv08 Can you try another smartphone for a day for testing purposes?

Preferably an Android device, so that we can rule out the hardware as a source of error.

Would that be possible?
