I signed a contract with O2 last month. The contract includes both a connection and a mobile phone. I chose to keep my previous number which was from the provider "Premium Sim". I've been using O2 for two weeks, but my number isn't the old one, it's a completely different number that O2 gave me. O2 has said it will take some time to complete portability but I don't know how long that is? I've already canceled my contract with the premium sim and I'm afraid I'll lose my number if O2 isn't reliable. This number is the backup and second layer of security for most of my online businesses. Does anyone know how long it will take? And secondly,
