Hello O2 Community,

Recently, I signed an O2 contract at an O2 shop in Duisburg. The salesperson explained that I would only have to pay around 30 euros per month for an unlimited data plan, and he even gave me a SIM card for free. However, I was shocked when 118 euros were deducted from my account. Upon inquiry, I found out that I had somehow signed a contract for two SIM cards, and the offer only applies if I use both.

I felt scammed, but I didn’t make a big deal of it since the salesperson assured me that my monthly fee would be 30 euros from the next month onwards. Unfortunately, I just received this month’s bill, and it’s 51 euros instead. How can they force you into using two SIM cards that you don’t need?

It seems that O2 has been scamming many users like this, yet they still claim to be the best in the business. Is there any way to get out of this situation or at least reduce my payment to the agreed 30 euros? Paying 51 euros for a speed of only 15 Mbps is simply too much.

Hello @K_vas,

welcome to our o2 community 🙂

That is a bad situation if you spoke to the colleguea in the shop and agreed one thing and got another. Did you sign a contract there where the two contracts where detailed?

After receiving the bill and realising you have two contracts, did you go and made a reclamation in the shop where you bought and signed?

Best Regards,

Gerrit
