This is a known issue. Use the customer portal instead and open the pdf in the browser.
I did that. It's also directs me to the pdf asking for a password or asking me to use the app.
Even if you open the pdf directly in the browser (not download)?
Yes, i tried that. It still asks me the password
That’s strange but then the only other thing I can suggest is requesting the invoice by post. Hopefully o2 will have fixed the issue by next month.
You can either call customer services or use the contact form: https://www.o2online.de/service/kontaktformular/
Hello @Chav ,
the issue with the pdfs and the password is mainly happening on android devices, do you maybe have a normal PC from where you can access mein o2 and go to the bills from there? That way you can atleast already access the bill.
Kind regards, Sven
Unfortunately, i only have work laptop that I can't use for personal use.
Hello @Chav
can you maybe trick the website by switching the page to something like PC or desktop view?
If yes, is this working?
Best regards,
Michi
I have the same issue, cant check invoioces on mobile or on the PC browser. The browser redirects to download the PDF and that is password protected. It is ridiculous that banks dont protect bank statements like this but O2 is hiding their charges like this. Is this even legal?
AK
Hello @akutty,
welcome to our o2 Community
The problem is already known and we are working on a solution together with Adobe. Please see also this thread:
Until then, the invoices can be opened with other applications if necessary.
If this is not possible for you, we will be happy to send you a copy of the invoice by letter.
Best regards
Giulia
@akutty Why would it not be legal?
By the way, many if not most banks protect bank statements in this way. It is not about hiding anything but ensuring the integrity of the data.
