Service

Hi,

my internet has not been working properly since Wednesday (it either doesn't work or is incredibly slow) and I do not know what should I do to have it fixed.

I contacted the customer service on Thursday, I was given a ticket (S2545XXX) and I was told there was a problem with a broadcaster near Bad Orb where I live and that it should be fixed the next day.

I received an SMS from “Netzservice” in Saturday, reading that “Lieber o2 Kunde, auch nach intensiver Prüfung (Nr. S2545XXX) konnten wir keine technische Beeinträchtigung unseres Netzes feststellen” (which is in opposite to what the customer service representative told me), so I don't know what I should do next.

I believe the problem really has something to do with the broadcaster, as also my phone shows just 2/4 sticks of signal.

Are there any O2 employees in this forum, please? Could you help me and tell me if - and possibly when - my problem can be fixed?

Thanks a lot!

Have a lovely day!

Hi @JakubGabor ,

Is it a DSL or mobile phone problem?

greetings

Hi Thomas. I have O2 my Home M + router and I only use it for the internet which now has outages or is slow. So this is my primary problem.

Which router are you using and have you restarted it (power supply unit)?

I have this router: https://www.dslweb.de/public/resources/images/anbieter/o2/homespot/o2-homespot-m.jpg

I have repeatedly restarted router and laptop, none of this has worked.

As I suggest earlier, I believe there is a problem with broadcaster/transmitter/whatever you call it, as there is almost no signal in my street. If I go 100 m down to the city, it shows 4/4 quality of signal.

However, I have no idea if they are going to fix it any time soon, which is why I have written here.

Use the live check to see if there is a network disruption in your area.

It looks like this is really where the problem lies.

Let's hope it will be fixed soon.
