Error in sim Activation

i brought a O2 sim card for 9.99 euro which is valid for 4 weeks but somehow this sim card is showing No Service and i am unable to use this sim card although i tried to activate this sim on O2 website but its not working..

We had maintenance work on the homepage today.
Did you try to activate the sim card again during the day?
Has it worked in the meantime?
