Hello,

I am currently using esim with my iphone.

But i will start to use Android Phone.

My old pyschical sim is also with me.

How can i activate old pyschical sim?

Or do i need to order a New sim card?

Hi @Adsah ,

in my understanding, you’d need to exchange the eSIM for a new one.

Since one installation profil can only be used once without the option to create a new one, the exchange of the SIM is the only option.

We have comment in a different thread that describes the process quite well.

It’s in german, but may be of some helop, nonetheless:

Best regards,

Kurt

Hi!

If a sim card is already deactivated (i.e. converted from a physical card to esim) this card cannot reactivated anymore.

You must order a replacement card (Ersatzkarte) to replace the esim with a physical card.

Do you have a tariff with connect option? Any Boost tariff?

Log in to Mein o2 and see if you can see the entry “Gerät hinzufügen” (Add device) under the consumption check (Verbrauchs-Check) . There you can order a multi-card free of charge and you will get  a physical SIM card. After activation, you can deactivate the eSim yourself.

Hello,

Thank yok for your answer.

My current tariff is "o2 Blue All-in M". And could not see "Gerät hinzufügen” (Add device) under the consumption check (Verbrauchs-Check)" .

Do i need to pay for a new simcard?

The “o2 Blue All-in M” has not the connect option and therefore you must order a replacement card an you have to pay for it.

But: If you want ro continue to use your eSim on your new device, it should be possible to move the eSim from your iPhone to your Android phone for free. But you need further support by an o2 employee.
