Cannot activate my replacement SIM card as I do not have mein o2 account for it

Hello, 1 week ago I bought a prepaid sim in one of the o2 shops, but it turned out to be defective and I was sent replacement card for it, which got delivered today and it needs activation, I can’t activate it because in order to activate replacement card you have to login in mein o2 account and activate it there, but thing is since my original sim was defective I have not created a my o2 account. I can’t call hotline since my sim card needs activation obviously.

@Nika00: You should activate the replacement card by phone. Check the letter for a free 0800 number.
A computer will ask you for your SIM serial number (starts with 8949) and then your date of birth.

You can try this tomorrow.

same problem with my brother he got a new sim card not activated and i have no idea how to because it needs a number to register in mein o2 but its not activated and i found nothing to help

Hi it's a replacement sim for one with defect, I cant activate it with sim card number, because when I try to do so, it asks me to go to my o2 page and activate it from there because its replacement sim, which I cant to because I dont have an account and I cant create one since I cant receive messages

HI, I received that number, but I can't call it because I dont have a sim card and this one is not working, because its not registered.
