Buying new iPhone with contract

Hi!

I am planning to buy iPhone 13 Pro with 24-months contract and with tariff included.

However, it seems to me that I cannot migrate from my existing tariff to the new one, and that if I order an iPhone now, I’ll simply get an additional phone number. Which is unfortunate and not what I want.

Is there a possibility for me to switch from my contract to the one that goes with the iPhone? The website won’t let me keep the existing phone number.

Kind regards,

Kateryna

The IPhone 13 can only be purchased together with a new mobile contract or together with a 24 month extension of your present contract (with tariff change if you wish). Have you looked in the customer portal or the app to see what you are offered under 'Vertragsverlängerung'?

Can your present contract currently be extended?

I guess, I have it for a year and there is still one year to go. But I don’t want the current one, I want to connect the one that goes with new iPhone.

Yes, but all the options are way more expensive than my current one and even more expensive that the one offered with an iPhone.

New contracts are always cheaper than extensions. Second contracts are even cheaper because of the discount for havingmore than one contract. If you really want the IPhone 13 then your only options at the moment are extend your current contract, get a new mobile contract (cheaper but then you would have two contracts) or buy the IPhone from a retailer that sells it without a mobile contract.

Hi @Kate Laman ,

did you manage to get a different offer for an extraction of your contract or have you found another solution?
Thanks for the tips, bs0!

Best regards,

Kurt

Hey!

They made iPhone available for buying without the contract, and that was my safest option.

Hi @Kate Laman

unfortunately, this did not work out as you thought. I have already replied to you concerning this issue in the following thread:

Are you still interested to prolong your contract for further 24 months? If yes, we are happy to check your possibilities. Just let us know how much data-volume you need.

Loving greetings,

Tobias
