Dear all,

First of all, I am sorry. I dont speak German, therefore writing this thread in English.

I wanted to setup my own router instead of the one provided by o2. I have a ADSL connection, o2 young plan.

I would like to configure the following router: Netgear R8000-100PES NIGHTHAWK X6 AC3200 Wireless: Amazon.de: Computer & Zubehör

To do so, I need PPPoE connection details, my concern is where can I find my username and password?

Do I need to ask o2 or is it somewhere embedded in the router that I currently have?

I would really appreciate a reply.

Thanks and Cheers!

@mittca what kind of Router you use? Exact model number please.

@o2_DSL I have the same issue that I want to setup my own Fritzbox 7530 international router for O2 dsl internet connection. I am doing work from home and hence access to internet is of absolute importance and urgent for me. My appointment with the technical person is tomorrow on 09.06.2021. CCan you please help me with the username and password that I should use with my router or will the username and password details mentioned on the router is already enough. Please help.

You have received the Internet credentials for setting up your router with the o2 order confirmation via e-mail (PDF, check SPAM folder) or letter. You will also find them in "Mein o2" after the connection has been provided.

They consist of an Internet user name like DSL123456789@s93.bbi-o2.de and the corresponding password.
