Upgrade DSL from Classic M to O2 My Home XL

Dear O2 team,

 

I’d like to upgrade my internet connection. I have a classic M with 50 Mb/s download speed and I’d like to upgrade the net to My Home XL. Since my German language is not the best and in the O2 shops asked me to do the upgrade via phone, I’d kindly ask you how can I do this upgrade.

 

Also, since I work based at home, I’d like to ask you wether this upgrade would affect my connection or I’ll suffer internet interruptions.

welcome to out community. Would you like a simple change to My Home XL flex with a monthly period or are you interested in a contract extention of 24 month with a special offer? 

 

Furthermore the Fritzbox 7490 is not compatible with supervectoring offered in My Home XL so you have to upgrade the router to Fritzbox 7590 (monthly price 5,99 EUR). So how to proceed? Will you return the Fritzbox and purchase the Fritzbox 7590 by yourself or do you need a rental Fritzbox instead of it?

I’d be interested to have a contract extension of 24 months with a special offer (please, send me the details).  I’d be interested also to rent the Fritzbox 7590.

Since I work based at home, I asked you if its possible to change connection without internet interruptions (maximum 30 minutes). It is possible? Once I have the new router and the new connection I’ll send the Fritzbox 7490.

Hello @Yuliya_85,

 

I recommend to swap the router before or after the day of the tarif change when you have the time. You will not notice the interruption in the internet connection, however your landline telefone might be off for a short time.

please use our return portal to return your old router: http://g.o2.de/GAF Here you can also print out a return label or download a mobile package label as a QR code. The return shipment is done with DHL and is free of charge.
