my O2 ADSL modem/router was broken a few days ago. I've bought the used one and now I need DSL user-ID / password and VoIP user-ID / password. Where and how can get them? I've checked contract and all the papers I have and there are no passwords. Seems that old O2 router was configured from the O2 side. But now I need to make this by my own. Dear O2 support, can you send me all this data to the e-mail you have already?

And I would appreciate to get necessary connection parameters as well.

Wrong solution. The router(which modell?) is not your own. That means, that you get a new one from O2, if this router is damaged (except hazard, water etc.). You must send back your old router, otherwise you get a high bill.

I have a contract since 2007, my old router is O2 Surf & Phone. I'm not sure that a replacement is available. And I've paid for it. at least it was a price in the bill. I've bought Vodafone EasyBox 802 which has pretty same functionality and costs 9 eur. I'm thinking about using dd-wrt firmware there. Any reason, why I can't connect my own router to the O2 DSL?

Just to save a right way...

This was a good advice:

I've chose online solution and opened web-chat there. And after explaining the problem, I was connected to a technician, who gave me all passwords and ID's after verifying my phone number and connection data. Thanks to https:///people/VoIP-Droide

Ok, you are a lucky man with a perfekt DSL modell 😀 And right - it´s you OWN router

I´m not sure, that you are lucky with a Vodafone router at O2 DSL. Such a router with dd.WRT ??? I´m wondering that this possible?

2 years ago I tried to connect the Easybox to O2DSL (same tarif) and VoIP was not possible, only internet.
