Unstable upload rate since nearly 2 weeks

Dear O2 Team,

Since two weeks I have been noticing unstable upload rates between 6 & 9 Mbps, that were previously always 10 Mbps. Nothing has changed from my end, also removing the sim, restarting device and trying out on another device of my homespot connection all seem to be giving the same results.

Would you please troubleshoot and fix the fluctuating upload rates?

Best,

@internetrocks

Good morning @internetrocks 🙂
It's great that you're getting in touch and asking questions.
You've already tried a few things 👍 Have you already entered your exact address in our Live Check and checked whether there are any known restrictions? Is anything displayed?
Kind regards

Kathi

@o2_Kathi thanks for your reply.

my device has full bars btw.

on the Mein O2 app the Live check says there are no issues. But on the 5G the ring is not complete as you can see in the picture. I don’t remember seeing it like that before.

Hello @internetrocks,

on your screenshot it says about our 5G network, that it is restricted within buldings - due to network restriction, that means that we have to try and expand our network in your area.

When you switch to LTE, do you see a difference in the data connection rate and speed?

Best Regards,

Gerrit

Hi @o2_Gerrit ,

the issue seems to be occurring from ~15.Jan.25. I do remember in that week seeing an issue on Live Checker that there was a failure and team was working on it. The issue seems to have been resolved however with this upload rate fluctuations unfortunately.

yes I checked 4G & 3G, with 4G it seems to be stable ~9.8Mbps upload rate. 3G said no service.

5G however seems to be fluctuating between 6Mbps to 8Mbps. It was perfect all the while with constant 10Mbps line previously.

Kindly have this resolved immediately.

Best,

@internetrocks

Hello @internetrocks,

our 5G network at your address needs an extension for it to be able to be sufficiently strong within buildings.

Our LTE network I checked with our live check, a station has restricition, wiuth a high possibility this being due to overload, here also an extension is necessary:

According to our network map, there are extenions planned, if they are already sufficient for your address I cannot say:

Best Regards,

Gerrit
