Requesting reversal of payment by bank transfer, with no customer number in tge referrence message - O2 Contract


Hi,

I have made a payment of 118,18 euros towards my contract with telephone number +XXXXX and customer number XXXXX .

I have missed to update my customer number XXXXX in the reference message but instead reference message is “Sent from N26”.

 

Account Holder - XXXXX

IBAN - XXXXX

BIC - XXXXX

transfer Date - 30/06/2023

Amount - 118,18 Euros 

Reference Message - Sent from N26

 

i am requesting you to please reverse this transfer. I will pay the overdue amount by another bank transfer with details properly mentioned.

Don't post personal details in a public forum! It is negligent and you risk having your identity stolen or your data misused.

You will need to phone o2 and speak to the billing department to have your payment found and correctly applied.

Please don’t post any personal information here, especially one that is as sensitive as information pertaining to your bank account.
For your issue itself you should contact the dunning department and have them transfer your payment to the correct account. As it is not guaranteed that you will reach someone that can speak english there, please make sure that you have someone that can translate for you if necessary.
