Hakllo @LTE max 10 mbit ,

Andrea

Hallo @LTE max 10 mbit ,

Andrea

At best, such devices are available for an additional charge.

Joking aside - there are simple devices for 50 MBit/s for about 90€.

Please a couple of examples of such equipment.

I can get Internet up to 20 mbit/s using Huawei E8372h.

Yes, but your Huawei E8372h doesn´t. A better Router can use (for example)

Band 20 → 20 Mbit/s

Band 8 →  18 Mbit/s

20+18 Mbit/s → 38 Mbit/s → with 256 QAM → 49,4 Mbit/s

I think there is only one Router on the Market, that supports VoLTE + Lowband CA, and that is the Homespot 5G 2023 (only for rent). The newer Version of the older Modell (Homespot 5G) should support that too, so don´t buy it from Ebay.

Everyone knows this! It was not even worth writing about it.!!!
the question is different..!

Band 20 → 20 Mbit/s

Band 8 →  18 Mbit/s

20+18 Mbit/s → 38 Mbit/s → with 256 QAM → 49,4 Mbit/s

I also read the theory…

Thanks for the exact answer....
it looks like o2 earns on Chinese routers..

did the answers of @Tom_ help you to decide which router to use?

Do you need further assistance?

Dear @LTE max 10 mbit ,

an update of the firmware is automatically imported, this cannot be done manually.

Kind regards,

Andrea,

everything can be done with the firmware file!
for example, the firmware says in German installations: "LTE_BAND="134742213" # B1, B3, B7, B8, B20, B28" (File:customized_germany.sh)
customized_global.sh >>>» LTE_BAND="137573695710"  # B2, B3, B4, B5, B7, B8, B20, B28, B38
This means that B8&B28 is simply turned off somewhere!
Change the package and slip it for updating..

The newer variants of the Homespot 1, can use LTE Band 8 and Band 28 - but this is not usefull in your case.

The Homespot 1 is still a LTE Cat 6 Router, and does not support Lowband Carrier Aggregation. So you can only use LTE Band 20 or Band 8 or Band 28.

If you believe the characteristics of the round router there is no Band 8 or Band 28 ... about which you write here!

pdf

The question is different! Where to watch, read and download the upgraded firmware?....
Why answer without knowing the topic?!of course you need to sell hotspot 2...

Thank you for clarifying the frequency range!!!
I hope so!! Since I don't know who to believe!
It's a pity that your specialists answer incorrectly initially about ranges!!! (see my very first question in this topic))

It is strange that o2 hides about this change in ranges and does not write openly!
But the previous question still has no answer (about primitive firmware mods....)
I am studying the following topic:

Dear @LTE max 10 mbit ,

there is a new model of Homespot 1 and this has different specifications. What @Sandroschubert  has written that the update of the firmware changes nothing is therefore correct, you would then have to use the new device of the Homespot 1 to be able to use other bands. so it has also formulated @Tom_ .

Kind regards,

Andrea

about the extended range of more than 3-7-20 ..
Is this a fantasy ?
I didn 't find it on the manufacturer 's website or on the o2 website !
Can you give me a link and how do I know which generation my router has?
Now there is a new problem!
Somewhere from 10 o'clock the download speed dropped sharply!
If earlier there was a TOLERABLE speed of up to 15 Mbps, now 3! Restarting resetting to factory settings has no effect
