Very slow internet and very poor signal


Hello, team O2

Like many customers of yours,i am also upset and disappointed of your service. It is the second day since network signal is very poor and internet speed is so slow that is driving me crazy.

How can you people live with such bad and poor speed of internet? It is absurd.

I am paying 70€ per month for this bad internet. Not worth it at all. The most poor speed of internet in all my life.

Please check what is the problem /reason of this poor signal in region 34308.

It is only this bad in this region? Is it better if you are in a different place? Just because I am interested.

O2 coverage in land Hesse is poor. I do not know how to live with this internet speed and poor network signal.

Have you already taken a look at the Live-Check to see what your current network availability is like? There you can also report a fault yourself if there is not yet one and it should be necessary.

I have the same problem, I looked at the live-check and it says it’s supposed to work well but it doesn’t. It’s incredibly slow even with 5g and my phone is fairly new. 

My mobile internet speed was fine for about 8 months, until few days ago the speed suddenly dropped to 200 - 500 kbp/s which is laughable. Is there any singal or connection issue in 86343 region? I’m sorry but i’m not going to keep paying 70 euro for something like this.

Hello @o2_Steffen , A side road near me in 86343 is Bürgermeister-Wohlfarth-Straße.

Yes I have used Live Check many times already and it says that all should be working fine in this area.

I have reported it to the support, they also checked it and said that they couldn’t see any issues and yet my issue remains. I got the connection alright but the download speed has dropped to around 200 kbps. I have tried many solutions on my phone already. Reseting net settings , turning flight mode on and off, etc. Nothing helps.

I have just been able to take a closer look at the region (86343 Bürgermeister-Wohlfarth-Straße).

At some stations near you, I can definitely see an increased load in terms of LTE data. But when you move away from your location, the speed is much better, isn't it?

Which smartphone do you currently use?

No worries, it also sucks in grombuhl würzburg.  The whole world has fiber optic and we still run on 50000  wth....disappointed for wasting my money

I want to take o2 to court for taki g money without providing the service

Yes I have checked in the shop in würzburg, and still nothing faster after living in this area for more than 3 years.  Other claim they have 100k from Telekom and vodafone but I have not confirmed this.

This is amazing

Last 4 days has been utter shit

70e per month .and i cant load a video

loading a website for 20 sec in this day of age..and in berlin..

 

No words... super depressing...

if you are having such a bad internet connection, you can try to analysze the issue with the help of your o2 Service App which you can download and which you can also use to report the result to our technicians in order for them to go about finding a solution.

that is unfortunate that there is no faster connection available at your address. At the moment are you having a DSL connection and when having your address checked in our shop there has also been no prospect of fiber being available later this year?
