Using my O2 sim card with Huawei mobile WiFi

I registered for a Homespot device and I was told I can also use the sim card in my mobile WiFi.

Now I have received the Homespot device and sim card and it works fine but I tried using the sim card in my Huawei mobile WiFi but its not working.

Please I need an explanation on how to make it work. Or except the O2 customer care lied to me.

If you router is not named her . it will not work.

Thank you. I have called the customer service and they have clarified that it can work if I pay an extra 19,99 every month. That way I can use the same sim card on both Homespot and Huawei mobile WiFi devices respectively.

Hi @Lagbaja,

thanks for your reply. I regret that it took a few days to reply to your request.

But after investigating your issue, I cannot confirm that your o2 my Data Spot-tariff just works with any router after paying an amount of 19,99 €.

@schluej already gave you a list of routers that work with our Data spot-tariffs.

I hope I could help you with this information.

Loving greetings,

Tobias
