Problem with internet connection from abroad

Hi all, I have a contract Free L boost, with 2 sim cards, one for my mobile phone and one for an internet router. I am now in Italy for holidays and cannot connect to the internet through my router: an error message says to check data roaming settings with my provider.

I connected from abroad several times in the past and this is the first time I am having issues. Also, I can access to the internet through my mobile phone, it is just the router (with my second card) which is not working anymore.

Any idea how to fix this?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Munich2019

welcome to our community.

Did you connect automatically to one of the italian provider? Some of them don’t support Multicards and let only one card in especially if there are too many visitiors in their network. Would you please try to connect manually to another provider?

Greetings

Hi @o2_Manga ,

thanks for your quick answer!

Eventually manual network searching worked.

There is just one thing that looks weird to me, and perhaps worth signaling. Among the available networks, some are indicated as “forbidden” and some as “allowed”: well, connection to all the “allowed” networks fails, while I could connect to a “forbidden” one at first try.

Best regards

That is really weird @Munich2019

but I will address it to the department for foreign networks. Maybe they should take a deeper look. Thanks for the hint.

Greetings
