I recently signed up with O2 with a Pixel 7 contract from Saturn. During the contract, I asked the O2 salesperson that I would want to port my prepaid number from Telekom to O2. He said Ok, and made a request from my Mein O2 app for number porting. I contacted to Telekom and they said the number is now free for porting. Then O2 sent me a message that they will inform me about the date of the porting, but then they said the previous prepaid contract was not cancelled. and that is why they can not port the number. But I double checked with Telekom and they said everything is fine, O2 should be able to port now. Then i went to the shop from where I purchased the contract and the O2 person called to Telekom again. They again said, the number is free. The O2 person then requested the porting via mein O2 app again and told me to wait for a date from O2. But still O2 mailed me that the contract is not cancelled from Telekom. Its been several weeks and sensitive information e.g bank data are linked to this number. This is pretty disappointing. Please, can this be looked into?
